My Name is Scherin and i am a german painter and illustrator.

In the area of traditional painting, i focus on portraits and figurative themes. Subjects are people and animals around me, but also fantasy, whimsical characters and creatures.

I work in oil, acrylic and gouache.

Because I really want to tell stories with my art, I am starting out as an illustrator/concept artist. Here I focus on character design,book covers and comics/manga. Themes are fantasy,animals, creatures and botanics.
